Against the energy produced by some bullets, such as 44 Magnum and 357 Magnum, the ballistic pack often needs a system helping to absorb the residual energy in order to hold the blunt trauma as much as possible.
The use of
TPR®laminate systems, particularly
TPR® 20 and
TPR® 30, in ballistic protection vests enables – at the same ballistic pack weight – to reduce trauma from 15 to 20%.
Moreover the use of
TPR® system added to ballistic fabrics helps to improve the ballistic protection power of each solution.
